Clarins Daily Energizing Range Samples Review

Hello!

Recently, I went over to the Clarins stand at my local Boots and asked if they had any skincare that would be good for teens. And surprisingly enough, they have a whole line! The Daily Energizing range is specifically for people in their teens to twenties as the products are aimed at younger skin. They are a great size for travelling too. I got a few samples, so here's what I think!

Clarins Daily Energizing Range Samples- the full size versions range between £12 and £21
Firstly, the cleansing gel. I love this! I quickly wet my face and pat it dry and then add this and work into my skin with damp hands. It lathers really nicely and I love the texture! I think I may be purchasing the full size of this!!!

The full size version costs £12
Next is the cream-gel. I use this after the cleanser, and it makes my face feel really smooth and hydrated! I really like this because, as with all the products, a little really does go a long way!

The full size version costs £21
I then tried out lotion that, unlike the others, has SPF 15. It does pretty much the same thing as the previous product, but has more sun protection and is lighter and thinner in consistency. This makes a good base for make up.

This also costs £21 for a full size bottle.
The next product in the line is the wake-up booster, which, like it says, wakes up the skin. This one is a liquidy- gel type consistency, and I like to apply it before the day cream using a cotton pad to evenly distribute it.

This costs £16.50 for the full version

And last, but not least is the day cream. I like to use this last as it really hydrates the skin. It goes on really smoothly, and leaves a lovely glow to the skin!

£21 for the full tub
Even though I won't be purchasing everything full sized in this line, I really like it! People often think that Clarins is a brand for more mature skin, but this range proves that it is great for all ages. My favourite thing has to be the Cleansing gel, as I love this!

See you soon!

Review- Benefit BadGal Plum Mascara

Hi guys!

Recently, I got Benefit's BadGal Plum Mascara. I had been admiring it for some time, so I was thrilled to get it for Christmas! But is it really worth the £16.50? Here's my review!

The first noticeable thing about the mascara is its unique and beautiful packaging! Unlike any mascaras I've seen before, it is in a purple and gold box!

The mascara tube itself follows the colour trend- the tube is the same plummy shade and the cap is gold.

The mascara retails for £16.50
So, the packaging gets a ten out of ten, but what about the actual product?
The wand has bristles, and is very big, which is great for creating lots of length, volume and definition, but not so great if you find the bigger wands harder to use! I like it, but I know it doesn't suit everyone's taste...
The wand scores 9/10!

As for the plum-colour of it, I find the mascara is a purple/black shade. It isn't hugely noticeable, but makes a subtle difference and isn't as harsh as black. It compliments a smokey or nude eye perfectly!
The colour is 8 out of 10 for me!

Overall, this mascara is lengthening and dramatic, not very clumpy and a nice purple tone! It suits all eye colours and isn't too garish! It makes a lovely change from black, so I would definitely recommend this, but I'm not sure if I would repurchase it, as it is fairly pricey and I would love to try the brown version!

Hope this review helps!
